Gratz Euripides! I hope you took her to someplace nice! I guess I will just have to listen to the old ones again this week (which I do anyway).
Do you have any plans on making another “Call to Auction” Podcast soon, or are you going to wait till after MoP is released? I am a big fan of “Gold Capped” and love the OutDPS! Podcasts as well. Keep up the great work, and I’m really looking forward to your shows once the new content is released.

YouTube works for me as long as the file will play on a non-iPod mp3 player and the files sizes are similar (ie: not massively bloated).

It doesn’t work for me to listen to the show live – time constraints in real life – so I’ll comment here. I’d love to see the podcast uploaded to Youtube as well as iTunes. I know a bunch of folks for whom it’s just plain more convenient, and they are a worthy audience too. The bandwidth concern also makes a lot of sense.

Also, rather than embedding video, I’d recommend you do what a lot of podcasts and other shows do – just include links in the comments that go with a submission. Show notes, in other worlds. :)

just a quickie on PVP and MOP. Zumio has done some great movies on his channel http://www.youtube.com/user/ZumioNET on these.

Amongst these is the very nice trick of combining binding shot with the explosive trap knockback to create an aoe stun. Very nice.

I don’t think we’ll be able to use a simple equation to figure out what the best level 45 talent will be for PVE. We’ll have to think like tanks, deciding between passive gains and the ability to soak spike damage.

For example, in a situation where all you take is spike damage but mainly rest at full health, Spirit Bond is basically useless but the other talents may shine because they increase effective health.

Euripides? It has never been easier to get back into PVP than now.

With guild rep you can get far more honour from simple honour grinding. Due to diminishing returns on resilience the step change form honor gear to higher tier is not huge, easily bridged by skill. A good pvp player in honour gear will beat a bad PVP player in top tier gear 9/10.

Not that getting top tier gear is hard. It used to be the case that to get access to highest level PVP gear you had to do arena (or rated BGs) to get the conquest points. Now you can get this from honour grinding. 100 CP per day for first win and 50 for each win after.

Further you can convert VP to CP and via LFR you can easily get 500 VP per week (plus get some PVE items that are great for PVP). Whats more since latest patch these converted points count towards the threshold needed to get your CP weapons.

And ofc you can get PVP gear and more VP from BH.

I understand exactly what you mean (my blog is evidence of that).
Hobbies like this one has a tendency to sneakily transform into chores that we just keep doing out of sense of duty rather than enjoyment.

Weekly posts just sometimes feel to be a chore. I can only manage one good post with good numbers a month. You are impressive!

I’d say you owe nobody anything. Including that slacker Euripides. Do what you want, post when you want, and as frequently as you want.

Otherwise Eurip will close the shop and redirect all customers to a nearby AH. ;-)

Good luck in life; however it does suck to lose yet another good hunter resource for Wow. My question now is, “who is gonna step up to bat”? As long as Wow exists, there will always be a need for accurate and well thought out hunter information.

You had really great posts and covered a wide variety of topics. I think you also probably presented the state of the game and hunters in the game (emotional topics which generate strong opinions) in a really balanced way.

I hope you find a new muse to inspire you. Although I don’t play WoW any more I still came back to this site to hear what you had to say. I think you blog well and appreciate all you have done.

Got it on the 10th try. Happy! :)

The way i did was burn millhouse at pack 1, dismiss pet and feign. Camo down to 3rd pack and kill it. Burn millhouse at pack 2, dismiss/feign, voila wall open. That way you only need to kill 4 mobs.

Slabhide himself was the easy part.
