Episode 67 is all about Frostheim- he was left to do the show alone this week, as both Darkbrew and Euripides had real life engagements.
Here’s the site where we host our shows live.

just recently came back to my hunter after leaving near the end of icc- will be 85 probably by the end of the day- what are the most important posts you would suggest for someone just coming back to the ultimate class in the game? ( I have done cataclysm heroics on alts for awhile now)
Everything you need to know can be found in the stickies in the Hunter forums, and the guides at Warcraft Hunters Union (WHU).
If you raided ICC you’ll already be familiar with the basics of hit capping, stat priorities, gemming and enchanting your gear. The WHU guides would be a quick and easy resource for you. Happy gaming.
Thanks :) I guess there are no longer times we can roll stat values continually on SS or anything like that eh?
The tenants of building a Hunter has not changed (never really has in 6+ years). Hit cap, then agility, agility, agility. Some secondary stats are worthwhile for soft and hard caps; but basically getting any and all AGI is never really a bad thing.
What you do need to know for Cat is 2 fold…
1) Its hard. Welcome back to Vanilla style. If you are a Wrath baby and expect purplez to rain from the sky, turn back now. Its just not like that anymore.
2) Since this is like Vanilla, you need to dps, but also play a utilitarian role. CC, CC, and more CC. SV Hunters especially when specced right can be a one man CC show being able to hold 2-3 mobs off…and even 4-5 in limited fashion.
Play smart. Stay alive. Pay your dues.
And read the WHU.
HI I”m Targanon(targ), of Spinebreaker.
Currently SV hunter…
My question Why does your podcasts have “I gem for Strength”
I would also like to know.
how much does location effect game play or DPS and Raiding mechanics.. As I live in Australia my Lat or ping is on average around 450-650ms. I play on us realm because I have frinds and family on that realm.
It’s self deprecating humor. We actually gem for spirit. As for the ping, you can adjust a setting in your game that should all but eliminate the effect of lag by allowing you to queue up abilities before they come off cooldown. This means that assuming your lag is constant, you’ll lose only one round trip instead of a round trip each cooldown.
I gem for INT. tyvm. I are smart and am edumacated huntaar
Ack. I have not listened to the show yet. All Frostheim? Only Frost?!? I fear that is too much hairy wrist for me to handle!!!!
Cartalk tagline, awesome :P
