Great show again! But such hate…. :)
Tree molesters, gnomes, cows and x-dressers. Lol, for myself, I consider ppl who play male toons to manifest weird tendencies (especially male blood elves). If I am to play a game for extended amount of time and spend most of that time staring at my avatars behind, I might as well make it a nice behind, one with tales preferably :) yep, all my toons are females and most are Draenies (1 blood tree hugger). No helmets, tabards or capes. Why on earth would I choose to spend hours and hours staring at a (surely) wrinkled, fatty dwarf male behind? or any male behind for that matter?
Your explanation is one of the common ones I hear, but doesn’t the fact that it’s supposed to be an avatar, an extension of you, play a part? I choose my characters based more on how people perceive me rather than what I look at. When I encounter someone in game, I want them to see me as a man, not a woman. Not that there’s anything wrong if that’s not the case with other people, of course.
I can’t say anything about Frost’s pixelated racism, though. Rest assured that Darkbrew and I have nothing against elves :)
Here’s a beta question thats been bugging me. With the truncated trees came the change that you get a point every two levels starting at level 10. By my math that puts you at 38 talent points at level 84. How are we getting a total of 41 points at 85 with the current system? Are we getting a talent point every level after 80?
Just want comment on the pet grinding subject. Pet leveling is actually pretty easy and painless if you are level capped. The way I do this is by using my undergeared pet to do heroic dungeon. The pet will level up once per dungeon, in average. If your realm is decent, then the average heroic should take about 20 mins tops. Which means 3 levels in 1 hour. Not bad if you need to do heroics anyway. Sure, you are decreasing your dps by about 300 but still, it´s a pretty sweet deal. If however u do not need to do heroics then it does feel like a grind.
