Hi folks! I’m sure you’re all huge fans of Zeherah‘s Femaledwarf.com site, so I figured I’d post a quick guide for those who don’t like to read FAQs on how to link your output. This is very handy for people asking for help on forums or blogs, as well as just chewing ideas over with other hunters in your guild!
Step two: put your hunter in the box
You can get a lot of valuable functionality from Zeherah’s site without logging in, but sharing your character’s setup is not included. So log in, or create and account and log in:
Now import your character, set up your buffs, and calculate your DPS (see my guide if you don’t know how). Next, you’ll want to save your profile publicly: (edit: you don’t need to use a public profile for linking after all- thanks for the tip Zeherah!)
Now when you go back to the top of the page and click on “Load Settings”, you’ll see your new public profile! That little chain link image is the link that you can send to people.
Bear in mind- you have to click on it and copy the link from the box that pops up:
In my case, here’s the public profile I created. On a side note- when asking me for help, try to include this so I can see what you’re doing.

Your pet (wolf) talent point shows that you have 1 point in Shark Attack instead of Wild Hunt. You’ll gain 33.84 DPS if you fix that..
heh, fair enough- I made that build when wolves got furious howl and never looked back to check on it. Thanks for the tip!
No no no, thank YOU! Ever since BRK quit, I’ve been searching for another good hunter blog I can read and learn from! Yours is just that thing I’m looking for.. :)
So yeah, thank you! Now, if we can only get a forums section going.. Hahaha!
If you like what you see here, I’d also suggest checking out my podcast partners in crime: Frostheim at http://www.warcrafthuntersunion.com, and Darkbrew at http://www.thebrewhall.com. If you like hunter forums and the official ones are not your bag, check out elitistjerks.com for theorycrafting, and the wowhead class forum for a good place to do some Q&A :)
Nice article. Just one clarification, you don’t have to mark a setting as public to share the link with someone else. As long as you have the URL for the setting you can load it. What marking the setting public does is makes it searchable in the Public Settings area.
I learn something new every day! Thanks!
