I like the rules, especially 1 and 3 are fantastic!
The arses must be really active these days. Tobold & Gevlon are talking about it. A WoW blog quit this week over it.
Why do people feel the need to be such dorks?

It’s a good sign. Trolls means you’re getting enough hits to be trolled. Internet trolls don’t enjoy trying to annoy tumbleweeds.
The best policy is usually to ignore them. They’re wasting their own time spreading hate, might as well not let them waste yours.

This was actually in response to a couple of jerks bring rude to other commenters.
See, now I read your list of rules and I just know that if people were honest, you’d probably lose a huge chunk of folks by the end of Rule number the First. Internet Tough Guys indeed.
Peeps have every right to disagree with the contents of a blog post, but if they really feel that overwhelming urge to focus their Internet Wrath in a comment post, they should put in a little effort to do so.
Be the sophisticated animal at the top of the food chain, and not the poo-flinging monkey.
Disagreement is fine- this site is all about debate. Any form of wrath is not fine. Attitude gets checked at the door.
It seems there is something you do not quite understand about behaving like a normal person:
It is your right and duty to agree/disagree with comments, blogs, news, etc. On-line, on the TV, on the papers, radio, etc. It is however, your duty also not to forget the rights of others. You do not have the right to insult others, whatever you may think. Freedom of speech does not include insults. We all know you (and I) really do not care about people outside our monkeysphere (http://www.cracked.com/article_14990_what-monkeysphere.html), we still have the duty to behave! So, lets keep it civil, lets not be monkeys :)
