This is the surviving scraps of a live show that was recorded recently. What’s left is Frostheim and I answering some listener emails.
Every show we do from now on will be live, and released on iTunes after it’s been cut together. Here’s the site where we host our shows.
As always, here is the iTunes store link, the Hunting Party Podcast feed, and the direct XML feed. If you email us comments or questions, we’ll read them on the next show. Send an email to huntingpartypodcast@gmail.com. Also, we love iTunes reviews. So please drop by iTunes and mention what you thought of the show.
If you don’t do syndicated podcasts, and just want to download this week’s MP3 and play it on your player of choice, click here.
You can configure /vipernotify to “Ding!” earlier than full mana. I’d think there would be an optimal amount of time to spend in Viper considering you’re wasting a global to switch both in and out of the aspect. You would want to make sure you’re in Viper long enough to ensure you don’t have to switch again later in the fight, wouldn’t you?
The aspect cooldown is not linked to the global cooldown. You can even macro it into your shots, if you want.
Aw crap; thanks Euripedes. When I switch aspects, it triggers the GCD, which means my aspect-switching macro is borked somewhere. I’ll have to take a look the next time I log in.
Cheers.
I’m missing the point of your BM tests. You spent thousands to find out that BM was a sub-par raiding spec? Great, this has been the case since the nerfs at the beginning of the expansion.
Believe me I’d be absolutely tickled pink to have BM be the top DPS spec, but its not. It’s not even close. You mentioned seeing it 16-17% behind MM yourself.
Are you suggesting that raiding hunters spec BM in ICC?
Where did you get that? Frost has had quite a bit of notoriety lately because of his statements that speccing BM is not raid viable, and what he did here was get a data point that supported his hypothesis.
