Yes that is an option, but it’s also a tanking gun. I know that I wouldn’t use that over Zod’s, but w/Frost you never know.
Yeah, it seems weird that Frost will push optimizing dps on so many fronts but then stop short on something so fundamental to hunter dps, the ranged weapon.
I’m a dwarf and I’m kneeling before Zod right now. If listening to creaks and twangs is what I have to do to achieve more damage done, then that’s fine by me. It doesn’t hurt that the bow looks awesome and has a nifty proc.

About the case of Kneeling before Zod, atleast before the hardmodes open my trusty BRK-1000 is still the best weapon for me, changing from that to zod’s would be a 50 dps loss.
I’ll only pick up Zod’s once it drops and I’m the only hunter that needs it, just because it has no stats and isn’t useful for the melee classes.
Most likely the next upgrade will be the heroic version of Stake Thrower, haven’t checked out the hardmode loot too much yet because there’s still such a long wait before we’ll get to spank the real mode of the bosses.

Yes, I would enjoy hearing HRIST on the podcast. My alt is a level 80 prot warrior and I just recently got defense capped and have began tanking in heroic pugs..some tips and stories would be nice for aspiring tanks.
