A minor point but spreadsheets generally underestimate hit rating for marksman because if you miss a chimera shot, it's possible that you wont get another one off before the sting runs out, meaning to have to waste a GCD to re-apply serpent sting (which probably delays chimera another 1.5 sec).

Yeah, I've been getting emails about that. I'll address it in the next show. The point was to always take the setup that gave you the highest DPS, not to blindly get to hit cap even if it costs you dps. That said, going 1 hit under the cap will cost your pet 1% of its DPS and that can't be made up for by half a gem's worth of agility.

Hit rating

Found out that when I was fully raidbuffed and had 9 hit over cap, I lost 5 dps to change one gem so that i was 1 hit below cap but had 10 crit more. This was because pets goes down to 7% hit when you go below hit cap and was something you overlooked in the calculations.

So I was wondering, why is it that all the calculations were done without buffs? It make sense for easy calculation but..since buffs/CDs only really matter in raids etc. With all the many scaling buffs being so easily obtainable wouldnt it make more sense to see how much benefit since there are so many scaling buffs.
