I saw Darkbrew, of The Brew Hall and our podcast, wrote a nice primer on Deadly Boss Mods. I’m going to go and link it in yesterday’s raiding 101 post, but go and take a look. Many people have this installed and use it already, but this is an excellent guide for people who are just getting started.

I think its funny that he covered up the names of his raid in recount but not omen.
yeah, that was just an oversight on my part.
Probably gives you an idea of how much I pay attention to Omen in-game as well, lol.
I didn’t know hunters use omen lol.
When everything gets red and scary feign death jk. I have the blizz threat meter and when i see it get in the 60-80% range i feign.
Yeah, I keep omen around, but I really don’t know why. As long as it shows me nothing the default doesn’t, it’s just less screen real-estate. I would probably be more interested in it if it had a list of mobs I had threat on, but that’s apparently harder than it sounds to code.
