I went to all the trouble of taming a worgen, and Blizzard went and ruined him for me! They removed all his abilities and talents, making him a vanity pet that can do a little bit of damage. Growl, cower, all the wolf abilities, and basically everything but passive, defensive, aggressive, attack, follow, and stay are gone. Plus, he still takes up a slot in my stables.
You’ll note that, adding insult to injury, they changed him to “unknown’s pet” at first.
Curse you, blizzard!
After a dismiss and resummon, he was at least properly attributed, however still has no abilities.
I was so angry I wasted a bullet on Blizzard’s pet squirrel.
Take that!

I didnt realize that- get the glyph of mend pet. It works for me.
Alternatively, take him into the battlegrounds – automatic pet happiness every time you die and are both rezzed (that’s how hunters kept their pet snakes alive in Vanilla WoW when they couldn’t be tamed/fed anymore).
Bummer! I would have spent the time getting him too.. if I hadn’t already done the quest. :-/
Nevermind lets just hope the next expansion has Worgen/Wolvar as a playable Race…… for the horde of course.

I’m sorry to see that. It was definitely one of the coolest looking pets I’ve seen. /sigh.
Remember, Worgen are really just cursed humans – don’t do slavery, kids ;)
Well right now the rumors goes, Worgen is for Alliance and Goblin is for the Horde :)
Now if the Worgen can roll druids and I could tame me one of those (feral preferably- crit chickens and trees are boring), I’d be all set!
