Hi again! I wanted to share some news and updates, and request feedback. First, I added reviews to comments and posts. Click the thumbs up and thumbs down buttons to guide what I post, diss comment trolls, and reward good comments. Second, I’m looking for people to start a hunter community podcast. It will be [...]

[Rip's editor's note: Hi folks, today's post is the first OutDPS hunter PvP post! Since I'm a mouth breathing, key turning, button mashing, terribad PvP hunter, I invited someone with a real arena rating to write about this. Put your hands together for Jurgwena! (And yes, that's his real personal rating on his 5v5 team)] [...]

[Edit: correction, it's Cclemon's guide on Matticus's addon blog.] Go check it out Plenty of good info there- I just set mine to the hunter defaults floating around the web and promptly forgot about it, but I’ve been thinking about trying to better figure out how it works so I can do stuff like create [...]

From Ahunkaluvin: “I’d like a guide to what the common mistakes are. For instance, I have pretty fair gear and have tried to put most of your lessons to practice, but somehow I still get nowhere near the DPS(about 1600-1800) of my fellow hunters. OK, So I suck, but, WHY? (other than just general suckiness)” [...]

I went over this a while ago, but I keep on seeing one of the most common questions all over the various forums I watch: what professions should a hunter take? The answer is deceptively complex.

Hey folks, I know, two blegs in a week. I am looking for someone who knows all aspects of Hunter PVP (arena, BGs/WG, dueling, etc) to guest write for OutDPS.com. All I do in PVP is keyturn, fail to find buttons I know are there, mouse click the wrong ones, and generally fail at twitching. [...]
Request line!

I’ve got a pretty comprehensive list of guides written over the last few months, but in the interest of keeping my content fresh, I’d like to open the lines up and take some requests. Anything you’d like to see here? Maybe a question you have, or something you discovered that was really useful to your [...]
Silencing shot!

Nassira’s post got me to thinking about silencing shot. Her point is that it should never be macroed, and always cast manually, and that the utility of the ability is more important to the raid than the DPS. I agree that its utility is good, but I still macro it to my shots. I just [...]

Today I’ll be going over General Vezax. This fight is easy for most appropriately geared raid groups, and aside from one twisted mechanic, is basically a low risk tank and spank.
EU First Kill of Yogg Hard Mode with a BM Hunter?

Wow.com broke this story, but the reason I’m posting is the screenshot. Is that a beast master hunter pet I see there? Indeed, it’s a devilsaur! What does this top 10, now EU first achievement bearing guild know that I don’t? Edit: yep, Shaylee was BM during this fight.
