I have a request. I am trying to win a conversation with a guildie, and I need to know what the general consensus is about the difficulty level of hard mode bosses. Please sort the following for me in the comments, easiest to hardest. Any explanations about your reasoning would be appreciated!
- Flame Leviathan
- Flame Leviathan +4 towers
- Ignis
- Razorscale
- XT-002
- XT-002 after killing the heart
- Assembly of Iron
- Assembly of Iron leaving Steelbreaker for last
- Kologarn
- Auriaya
- Freya
- Freya with all three elders left up
- Hodir
- Hodir in under 3 minutes
- Mimiron
- Mimiron after pushing the giant “DO NOT PUSH” button
- Thorim
- Thorim if you get him pushed down in 3 minutes
- General Vezax
- General Vezax without using saronite vapors
- Yogg-Saron using 4 keepers
- Yogg-Saron using less than 4 keepers
- Algalon the Observer
Specifically, if you consider any of the hard modes easier than Yogg-Saron, I’d like to hear why :)
I can only speak to 10 man as I haven’t begun 25 man hard modes yet but for tens it would go something like this
Flame Leviathan
Ignis
Razorscale
XT-002
Assembly of Iron
Kologarn
Auriaya
Freya
Hodir
Thorim
Mimiron
General Vezax
XT-002 Hard mode
Assembly of Iron leaving Steelbreaker for last
Yogg-Saron using 4 keepers
Hodir in under 3 minutes
Thorim if you get him pushed down in 3 minutes
Flame Leviathan +4 towers
General Vezax without using saronite vapors
Freya with all three elders left up
Mimiron after pushing the giant “DO NOT PUSH” button
Yogg-Saron using less than 4 keepers
Algalon the Observer
This really depends on your raids personal strengths though.
If your raid group has exceptional DPS who can avoid internet fires with ease, Hodir hard mode is a cakewalk.
Mimiron is an insane test of your healers.
Thorim requires excellent tank co-ordination on taunting.
And Flame Levi is really how well you can drive your vehicle, not how well you play your class and so this one fluctuates in the list probably more than the others.
/agree with Muron on it depending on your raid’s strengths. I haven’t done most hard modes so can’t do the list myself, but I’d definitely be reordering Muron’s normal mode list for my guild.
* Flame Leviathan
* Ignis
* Razorscale
* XT-002
* Assembly of Iron
* Kologarn
* Auriaya
* Freya
* Hodir
* Mimiron
* Thorim
* General Vezax
* Yogg-Saron using 4 keepers
Thats basically how progession goes, but yeah. I personally have seen different results of what is harder then others.
But i guess, i would say XT, Hodir, Thorim, and Freya are of the more easier ones.
Would you put any hard modes in front of any normal mode bosses?
yeah xt hard is freakin simple. definitely easier than general normal.
The greedy goblin has an interesting answer:
