It does suck to leave friends, but it’s not like the friends all disintegrated upon you leaving the guild, they can still be your friends. And now you can progress as a raider.

I sort of lucked out with my guild, Kingship of the East, because one of my friends irl was in it, and he convinced myself and a few others to join. We’re an RP guild that raids, and we do both quite well.

And I was horrified when I started raiding, everyone else seemed to know each other, I only knew a couple of my friends irl, but now people in my guild know who I am and we have a lot of fun. I’m sure switching up to a bigger guild will give you even more opportunities to make all kinds of new friends. :)

I wasn’t able to raid w/my guild last night and instead of replacing me w/ranged DPS, the opted to bring in a Drama Llama instead. /sigh.
